World Food Day 2013 is being celebrated internationally on October 16th, 2013! Per the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, this year’s theme is “Sustainable Food Systems for Food Security and Nutrition”. The Sustainable Food Initiative would like to invite you to join us for a mixer on Wednesday, October 16th at 6 p.m. at Dewey’s on campus. There will be a locally sourced featured snack made in-house at Dewey’s as well as local beer available! Come celebrated World Food Day with us and meet like-minded individuals who are interested in Sustainable Food at the University of Alberta!
